Pentre Ifan II Lino Print

Paul Rickard

Pentre Ifan II By Paul Rickard

Pentre Ifan is a neolithic burial chamber on the northern slopes of Pembrokeshire‘s Preseli hills. It is one of those liminal places that fascinates Paul - where the worlds of its builders and of their ancestors overlapped.

Lino printing is a form of fine art printmaking where the printing plate is cut into lino. The lino is then inked, a piece of paper placed over it, and then run through a printing press or pressure applied by hand to transfer the ink to the paper. Paul prides himself on using UK made inks and where possible UK made papers.
